Our mission at the ClimateStore is to make is easier for people to live sustainably. We consider this a journey we’re all on together. Along the way, we understand items may need to be returned or exchanged from time to time. No problem! We’ll work with you to get things right.
One thing that really make returns work from our end is a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA number allows us to keep track of returns and assures they get sent to the right location. The good news is we'll generate this for you during the first step in the returns process and it will be printed on the return packing slip, and communicated in e-mails.
Need to Make a Return? Follow these 4 Easy Steps
1) Find your Order and Request an RMA #
- The first step is to find your order and request your RMA number. Just follow the steps on line to find and view your order, and click the links to "request and RMA number". When you're through, you'll get a confirmation e-mail that the request has been submitted.

2) Print Your Approved Packing Slip
- After your RMA is approved, you will receive and e-mail from the ClimateStore with an attached packing slip. The packing slip will contain the Return Address and the RMA number. We recommend printing 2 copies of the packing slip, one must go in the box (step 3), and the other can be used to take to the post office or your shipper (step 4) as it has the printed return location.
- Includes: RMA #, Return Address, and Order Info.
3) Repackage Items to be Returned
- Be sure to include the packing slip (with the RMA number) and all the items you wish to return. We also recommend writing the RMA number on the outside of the box.
- Using the original packaging, when possible, will cut down on waste and save you some time.
4) Take the Package to Your Local Shipping Store
- Make sure the Return Address that was printed on the packing slip is clearly visible on the shipping label. If you go to the post office, they can provide you with the shipping label or required materials. Be sure to bring the packing slip so the Return Address is available.

Our Returns Policy, In a Nutshell
- To make things easy, you can return items for any reason up to 45 calendar days from the date of delivery, no questions asked.
- Once we receive the product, you’ll get a full refund for the amount of the purchase price.
- If the return is a result of our error, i.e. you received the wrong or a defective product, we’ll pay for the shipping costs in both directions.
