Our mission at the ClimateStore is to make it easy to reduce your carbon footprint. We consider this awe’re all on together. Along the way, we appreciate items may need to be returned or exchanged from time to time. No problem! We’ll work with you to get things right.
What is ClimateStore’s Returns Policy
- To make things easy, you can return items for any reason up to 45 calendar days from the date of delivery, no questions asked.
- Once we receive the product, you'll get a full refund for the amount of the purchase price.
- If the return is a result of our error, i.e. you received the wrong or a defective product, we'll pay for the shipping costs in both directions.
- If you need to exchange the item because of incorrect size, color, etc., you may return it using the steps outlined on the page and wait for the exchanged item. If you need it sooner, give us a call us and we can send you your requested item. Please note we'll charge you for the new item until we receive the exchange, after which we will reimburse you. You will also be responsible for any return shipping charges.
- All returns must be processed with an RMA number (that stands for Return Merchandise Authorization number), which allows us to track the return and assure it gets to the correct return destination. This results in faster processing, fewer mix-ups and reduces the carbon footprint of the return! Using our process you’ll get an easy-to-print packing slip for the return, e-mail updates on the return process and additional contact information. Thanks in advance!
- In addition to the returns process, where applicable, some items come with a manufacturer’s warranty. It your item has a warranty (or limited warranty), instructions on what it covers and how to contact the manufacturer will be listed on the original manufacturers packaging or can be found on their website. How can I reduce my Carbon Footprint and Shipping Costs when Returning Items?
- If you need to exchange the item because of incorrect size, color, etc., you may return it using the Easy Returns steps below. As mentioned in the returns policy, you are responsible for shipping charges.
- If the return is a result of our error, i.e. you received the wrong or a defective product, we’ll pay for the shipping cost.
- Ground transportation is the cheapest and least carbon intensive way to ship small packages/items (as opposed to by air). For U.S. customers, our experience is that the USPS (the good old US post office), has the best rates for lighter packages.
- All returns that are a result of our error (for which have approved payment of returned shipping through the RMA process), must be shipped by ground.
How long does it take to process my return?
Please allow 7-15 days for completed returns or exchanges. Shipping times vary as does the communication between our staff and original manufacturers. If you don’t hear from us, please send as a note at email@example.com or give us a call.

If you’re have technical difficulties with your carbon lowering items we’re here to help. Typically, the fastest way to get expert support is to call the 1-800 number provided by the original manufacturer. This number is normally provided on the original packaging. If you can’t find it there you can often find it on their website. When will I be Contacted During the Returns Process?
If you use, you’ll get a number of updates along the way. This includes..
- The initial RMA number, a printable packing slip, the return destination and additional contact information
- Notification when we receive the return shipment
- Notification when your credit card refund is submitted.
